When I select clear cache the only thing happening is the following screenshot.
It reads: Console running... (forever)

I’ve this problem too - actually every time I click on "Clear cache".
What I would like to know: Is the cache cleared even when the message window does not report so?
If the cache is not cleared: How can I clear it?

If not, can I do it manually?
As far as I can see the cache gets cleared, you just don’t see any output. But maybe don’t take my word for it and ask one of the developers.

I do believe the cache is getting cleared despite the lack of feedback in these cases, and yes, you can do it manually by simply removing all the files in the core/cache/ directory.

Is there an api function that removes a certain document from the cache? Like "$cacheClear->set(’resourceID’,’29’);" or so? Can I force the recreation of a cached resource?
This is all about getting rid of the "blank start" page, which is caused by a cache confusion. I just need the function that is called when I press "save" after editing a resource (e.g. the "start page"). Any Idea?
