transporting part of a site

What is the best way to transfer a big chunk of content from one site to another?

I see there is a resource importing feature, but not sure how to do the exporting in the first place.

I’ve got a bunch of resources/pages and elements/chunks,snippets,tvs that I want to move over without copy-pasting them one by one. I’m a bit apprehensive about copying the entries from one database to another.

the only thing it doesn’t do (At least that I didn’t see) ws take the actual resources, but I’m ok with changing one table in the DB
