So I am trying to install for the first time modx on a Fedora 13. I have:
php 5.3.3
mysql 5.1.48 (mysqld is running)
Mozilla Firefox 3.6.10
I have downloaded and unzipped Revolution, and put it in a directory.
Then using Firefox I navigate to index.php in the setup directory (is this correct?) in order to get the installations option page.
I then get the following message:
Firefox can’t find the file at /home/andy/modx_revolution/setup/" . MODX_SETUP_URL . "?s=set.
There has been a post in September regarding this error message (Topic: install fails with "can’t find the file at /E:/ModxRevInstall/setup/"), but the solution has not been posted.
What am I doing wrong?
