Setting file and folder permissions for file manager

On the wiki section for system settings there are keys named new_file_permissions and new_folder_permissions. I don´t have these. If I create new ones they don´t work.

Is there a new way to set the permissions for new files?

You create the permission new_file_permissions and set it to 0775 or whatever.

Otherwise it defaults to your PHP’s umask.
