From windows to linux

Hi! I’ve a working version of ModXRevo in my Windows Server, now I would like to copy/transfer to a Linux hosting solution... Can you tell me an easy way for do this?

I create new DB on Linux
... but for Modx files?????

No! I’ve ModxRevo running on windows and now I’ve a Ftp access (+phpmyadmin) for a linux hosting solution

I would do a fresh install on the linux system, backup the relevant DB tables on the windows, and import them into the new one on the linux machine.

Then just copy any files that are specific to site css/imgs/js stuff shouldn’t be any problems at all.

In adition:
After copying DB-tables do the setup again, but as "update"

Please can you tell me the easy way, step by step

I make a backup of my DB (windows server)
restore DB on linux server
copy new revo files (downloanded from modx site)
run setup of revo files from linux server (with upgrade?? or install??)

and for my template? (that I’ve on old server revo version)

1. Backup your old database using Drop Table option.
2. Install MODx on your new server.
3. Import the backup .sql to your new database.
4. Run the installer again in "upgrade" mode.
4. Upload any unique files (images, templates, etc) from the old server to the new server.
