Migrating from Evolution to Revolution

Hi

I currently run a site under Evolution, and I’d like to upgrade to Revolution when possible; I’m no programmer though, so I have to wait for the migration tool I’ve heard mention of.

All mentions of this so far though have been ’soon’ and ’a while after release’ - is there anything more specific I can get in terms of a release? Even ’within 6 months’ or ’before 2011’ - anything that gives me an idea of how long I need to wait, and where I should look for it?

Many thanks
Maddie

I don’t know about the migration tool but the Provisioner package will help you now to a certain extent http://modxcms.com/extras/package/563. Full Evolution site import is not included yet but is slated for inclusion in November.

That’s great Exactly the info I was after, thank you!

I had seen provisioner but thought migrating my site that way would be a whole pile of faff and I’m looking for the KISS option

Cheers
Nic
