Accordion menu with Wayfinder & JQuery - won't work!

Hi

I followed this tutorial for building an Accordion menu with Wayfinder using JQuery

I believe it is written for Evolution and I’m trying to get it working for Revolution and it just ain’t working!

I assume all "[+" "+]" tags need to change to "[[+" "+]]" which I’ve done. I’ve followed the tutorial exactly, called all the css and js files, built all the chunks, and my wayfinder call is the same as in the tutorial (see below).

[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`2` &outerTpl=`wfOuter` &parentRowTpl=`wfParentRow` &activeParentRowTpl=`wfActiveParentRow` &innerTpl=`wfInner` &rowTpl=`wfRow` &innerRowTpl=`wfInnerRow` &cssTpl=`wfStyle` &jsTpl=`wfJs` &hereTpl=`wfHere` !]

This outputs an empty unordered list (aka no menu!)

so how can I make this work for Revolution?

Incidentally if I strip the wayfinder call back to the following, I do at least get a basic menu output but without any accordian functionality.

[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`2` &outerTpl=`wfOuter`!]

hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

You assumed wrong (or explained wrong).

The tag syntax is [[+placeholder]] not [[+placeholder+]]
Similarly, wayfinder shouldn’t be called with that extra ! at the end, ie [[!Wayfinder? ...some parameters here... ]]
