[SOLVED] Cannot open modal box in System->Actions tree

From a website recently upgraded from Revo 2.0-pl to 2.0.2-pl:

Within System->Actions, I am not able to open a modal box by right-clicking on a record within the Actions tree. Right-clicking on a record does nothing. No javascript errors are reported. No server errors logged.

Cleared cache, flushed permissions/sessions, cleared browser cache, restarted browser. Right click still does not function. I checked JIRA and could not find any pending issues.

Behaviour tested in FF 3.6.10 and IE 7.

Either something didn’t get updated, or your browser cache is still not completely cleared, as mine works fine. And I’m guessing it’s the latter because there were JS changes in the Actions tree with regard to menus in 2.0.1/2.

I re-uploaded the entire Revo-advanced upgrade (overriding existing files) and the problem persists.
I then ran setup once again, and the problem persists.

Between these steps I cleared browser cache, even logged in from my wife’s computer. Still nothing.

I’m going to try a couple more things before I wipe all files and do a clean install.

Sorry you’re having trouble. It works for me with 2.0.2 in FF 3.6.10 and IE7 -- Vista Ultimate.

After wiping my old core directory and uploading a fresh copy of Revo-advanced, it still doesn’t work.

Bob - did you upgrade 2.0.2 via the advanced package?

Going to try again, this time uploading the full installation package.

Well a Revo-traditional install cured the problem. The manager even looks ever-so-slightly different, in a good way.

Far be it for me to say there is a problem with the Revo-advanced upgrade, but I sure would like to hear others say that they can access the Actions tree after upgrading via the Revo-advanced package, just to confirm that I goofed up somewhere.

Anyway, back to work I go!

I’m using the 2.0.x development version from GitHub (I think Shaun and Jason are too, for the most part), which is kind of a Traditional/Advanced hybrid, so who knows if my experience means anything for your situation.
