Broken thumbnails in Revolution 2.0.2

try setting_phpthumb_allow_src_above_docroot_desc parameter. I must be set on YES.

Yup, that was it. Just got this fix from another topic I’d posted in, but thx a ton for the reply.

thanks - helped me a lot! You might also have to set gallery.thumbs_prepend_site_url to yes as well.

Also having this problem in Revolution 2.1.3pl traditional running on linux apache, MySQL 5.1.56, PHP 5.3.6, gd enabled, no ~ in URL, not sure about Image Magick- how do I find out? Any solutions yet?

Changing phpthumb_allow_src_above_docroot to YES solved my problems with ~ in a temporary URL too.

For people with mmcglynn's question, go to:

System->System Settings

Then in the Core section choose the settings for PHPThumb

The crucial setting is probably first on the list:

phpThumb allow src above document root

Set it to YES.

Thumbnails then reappear.
