Revolution Upgrade (not allowing me to select upgrade)

Hey, I’m attempting to upgrade my install and am getting stuck. I overwrote the old files with the latest version of Revolution standard (2.0.2-pl) and went to run setup. The upgrade option is now grayed out. Any ideas on how I can move forward? I’m guessing the config file got destroyed maybe? Can I recreate this by hand or is this even the problem?

Yes, you definitely nuked the core/config/config.inc.php file - you’ll need to restore it; did you make a backup before running upgrade?

If not, you can try creating a new core/config/config.inc.php from the template in core/docs/config.inc.tpl, by replacing all placeholders in {}, and then making the file writable.

Made a backup and was able to find the old config file in it. Everything went smooth when I replaced it. Thanks for posting the paths! They saved me!

Hmmm... having a strange problem.

At first I was getting PHP errors on all pages but I cleared the cache and re-installed all the plug-ins (ditto, getResources, and TinyMCE) and it started working.

My site works now only when I leave out the www prefix. When I add it I get a "Page not found" message. Also, I see all my resources and their names in the manager but when I click on them all the information is empty. This goes for pages and chunks. Any idea what is going on?

I see page contents and aliases when I use phpMyAdmin. I’m curious why they are not showing up in the manager.

Empty your browser cache.

I tried clearing my browser cache and still am having the problem. I tried another browser on the same machine and Firefox on another machine. All are having the same issue. I see the full name in the tree but clicking it loads a blank edit page were nothing shows up.

Could this possibly be related to user security settings maybe? I had problems in the past with no resources showing in the tree but everything worked at the time of upgrade and the tree is fully populated.
