The navigation for resources elements and files keeps reloading every time I do just about anything like open, close, save etc.
This reloading is slowing the back-end down a lot, is there a way to set what functions reload it automatically, or just turn it off completely for admin user?

Turning off reloading would be a nice feature. You could reload the tree manually with the refresh button. I’m not sure it’s workable, but you could request it via the "bugs and requests" link at the top of this page.
I’m also finding that when I restart my computer and start xampp and log into the back-end it is fine, for about the first half hour. Then it starts slowing down and needs numerous refreshes to open pages. It gets really bad after a while, opening and saving a resource is taking me 5-10 minutes.
Looking at apache, I can see it’s not even working. I tried clearing all sessions to no avail. I am going to try it on a server soon, hopefully it gets better.
anyone have any ideas as to what is going on or what I can try?
