    Hi everbody,

This is my third time try with revolution, and this time I would like to come to an happy end smiley
After I could not get it work on a local xampp system, I now installed it at my provider.

My first problem is (Im afraid there will be a lot more smiley ) the package management.

When I try to install (after I downloaded a package within the system) I get "Package not found"

But the packages are downloaded and "de?"zipped in the core/packages folder.

Now Im just confused what to do next. I guess I lack understanding for this technical stuff.
So, is it allready installed? How can I get it to work?

Many greeting from a happy little frogfish

    Thanks

      Before we can help you:

We can’t help you without that information.

Also, can you state the versions of your ZipArchive and libzip extensions.

MODx doesn’t support that version of MySQL:

                Hi,

                well thats great.

My Provider (specialized for CMS like Joomla, Typo3 etc.) tells me its a debian package and no chance for a change within the next year.
                Cant believe that.

                  Version 2.0.1
                  Traditional distribution
                  Windows Server 2003 R2
                  Apache 2.2.11
                  PHP 5.3.3
                  MySQL 5.0.91
                  pdo_myql installed

I cannot installed packages when using modxcms.com as provider. I click on a category and the list is empty. I had this same issue with a 2.0.1 install. So I’m at a loss what to do. I want to test modx for a project but it is becoming somewhat difficult.

Do you have cURL installed? What’s your ZipArchive and libzip version?
