Symlinks: Inherit Properties

Hi all,

i thought of using SymLinks for structuring the back-end in a end-user-friendly way.
I want to display the Resources through getResources and the Symlink doesn’t seem to inherit the properties of the target Resource. All the template variables and Resource-Fields are back to default. Is there a way to tell the Symlink to inherit these properties?

Assuming you’re using @INHERIT, it will inherit from the parent, not the target. I think you would need to create a plugin to have it inherit the target properties ... neat idea.
