I was wondering for those that are using Firefox to access the ModX Manager how you are getting around Firefox’s right-click content menu? Everytime I go to right click to activate ModX’s right-click capabilities Firefox’s content menu appears. So far I’ve just clicked on another tab, then back to the Manager tab so I can see ModX’s right-click menu. Is there any easy way around this issue?

Using IE 7 @ work and the hovering Save/Preview menu covers the Resources/Elements menu/tabs. To get to the Resources tab I minimize the window and it shifts down enough for me to get to the tabs.

Not sure if it’s changed but I don’t think revo manager works 100% in IE7 and isn’t supported, i might be wrong though

This issue still exists with Firefox 3.6.13.

With IE8 the context menu doesn’t work at all.

Amazingly, it works nicely with Safari 5.0.3 for Windows.

What version of MODx are we talking about here?

I use FF 3.6.12 all the time on Revolution 2.0.6-pl and have never had trouble with the right-click menu (at least not yet).

I have seen that issue, but it’s been a long, long time and I think it was in IE. Remind me not to update to FF 3.6.13. wink

I am on 3.6.13 with no problems at all.. and can’t remember having an issue like that at all between 2.0.0-pl and now.

If this seems to be firefox related, perhaps an extension or plugin has to do with it?
                I’m using these extensions:
                - Firebug
                - Read It Later
                - Java Console 6.0.22
                And these plugins:
                - Adobe Acrobat
                - Google Earth Plugin
                - Google Update
                - iTunes Application Detector
                - Java deployment toolkit
                - Java Platform
                - WMP Firefox plugin
                - Mozilla Default Plug-in
                - Quicktime Plug-in
                - Shockwave Flash
                - Shockwave for Director
                - Silverlight
                - Windows Live Photo Gallery

I’m running exactly that (FF 3.6.13 and Revo 2.0.6) and have no problems with right-clicking. I am on a Mac (Mac OS X), so that might be a difference (i.e. in Firefox).

I’m using Firefox 4.0.1 under Ubuntu, and I also have the problem : when I do a right click on the Manager Tree in Revo 2.0.8, the Firefox’s right click menu appearing.

Is there a tip to disabled it only on the Manager Tree ?

Same problem here using Windows 7, Firefox 4.01, MODx 2.0.8 (already under Fx 3.x and MODx 2.0.x).
