[solved] Manager: Stuck on "loading" when opening Template Variable

Hello,

as the title already suggests:
My installation of modx Revolution 2.0.0 pl (running on ubuntu kernel 2.6.32, PHP 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.2, pdo_mysql 5.1.41) runs without problems aside from the following issue.

Whenever I open a TV (leftclick on it in the element tree) the page stays grayed out with the "loading" symbol spinning perpetually. Opening the TV via quickedit works fine but of course this doesn’t allow me to edit properties.
The issue occurs with every TV I try to edit in this way.

I couldnt seem to find some other post regarding this so its obviously not a common problem - can one of you guess the root of the issue though?

ah yes - dont know if this helps, but when inspecting the loading events with Firebug the following error is shown:

this.getComponent("tabs").getComponent("panel-properties") is undefined
[Break on this error] MODx.panel.TV=function(A){A=A||{};Ext....xt.reg("modx-panel-tv",MODx.panel.TV);

Also: unlike the issue described in

this happens every time both in firefox as well as in IE - no "randomness".

It might be a corrupted file in the download/upload (assuming that you’ve had the problem all along).

thank you for your reply.
Doing a fresh install (different upload directory/webroot) using the same existing database lead to the same problem. Reinstalling with a fresh database fixes the issue though. Oh well - on to manually moving the page contents then ;-)
