Session wildcard domain problem

I noticed that Revo PL 2.0 seems to have difficulty with the wildcard subdomain dot prefix, e.g. ’.mytld.com’. I want my Revo session cookie available to my TLD and all subdomains. Adding the dot prefix accomplishes this with basic PHP session handling.

The dot prefix does not work as expected in Revolution. I find myself either getting locked out of the manager, or not seeing the session cookie available within subdomains. This behaviour spans Chrome, IE, Firefox, so it does not appear to be a browser issue.

I am specifying the cookie domain wildcard as a new system setting ’session_cookie_domain’ within the core namespace. Am I doing something incorrectly?
