Images not displaying

Hello,
I have this problem with Revo, that images don’t display in backend - i will just get empty square and a file name.

Any idea what could be wrong?

I’m running:
MODx Revolution 2.0.0-pl rev7212
PHP Version 5.2.9
MySql 5.0.91

It happens on all browsers.

Did you try this fix by manually setting the path to Imagemagick? http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=53172.0

In the latest git version – you are able to adjust this path under system settings, but the 2.0-pl you have to modify the file.

I don’t have ImageMagick installed on my server.
I have just GD 2.0.34

I know that on other server where ImageMagick was installed images ware displaying properly.

Should I apply any custom settings for phpThumb to work properly in modxRevo?

I was looking on Revo error log, and found this:

[2010-09-02 13:46:56] (ERROR @ /~oraliatr/assets/components/gallery/connector.php) [Gallery] phpThumb was unable to generate a thumbnail for: /home/oraliatr/public_html/core/cache/phpthumb/phpThumb_cache_adworxhosting.com_src9ef8164a84fa5613eed547fdb142af9b_parc0577b6af55be2f1fe29bd4dad092394_dat0.jpeg

Dose anyone have a clue ?

Are you accessing the site using /~oraliatr/ as part of the URL? Similar to what I was doing here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,52635.0.html

As soon as I moved the site to a dedicated IP or a beta subdomain (in the other case) on the same host the issue was resolved. I think it has something to do with the ~ in the url generated and phpThumb not able to handle that, though that is just my suspicion. I downloaded a copy of phpThumb and installed it on the server, and the samples were working fine but the ~username wasn’t part of the image path in the phpThumb demo.
