I’m a beginner in modx and i’m build my first big project.
I had problems with the cache but i learn how to use the tags [! ].
Suddenly, in a section of the web, the cache don’t work, only one time when i save the snippet.
For troubleshotting, i open the error log to find any problem,
i saw that in core/cache/elements/modsnippet/ errors in snippets but when i opened the folder, i couldn’t see the file.
For this reason, i deleted the folders in cache to test again, but when i try to access the manager, don’t show anything and
the frontend only show the home template.
How i can restore the manager access and the load of the resources???

If all you deleted were files in the /core/cache directory, it shouldn’t have caused any trouble. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

The project developers and i tried it, we can´t believe this. Only deleted the cache folder :S an now, don’t have access to nothing.
I can’t believe it either, unless the cache directory has become unwritable, there’s no connection to the DB, or the DB is empty.
I’ve done it dozens of times with no effect.
Make sure the /core /manager and /processors directories are still there.
I once accidentally deleted my /core directory and it took me a while to figure out what had happened.
We had found an old cache folder in a test machine and uploaded to the server.
With this folder, we have access to manager and frontend but i don’t know the matter.

Check the permissions and ownership on the cache folder to make sure it can be updated. See if it matches the other folders in the install.
Try creating a new cached document and see if it shows up in the cache after being visited.
