revo site settings are uneditable

Hi

I’m running a revo install in a subdomain to build/test before rolling this out to replace an existing evo site at the domain root.

I want to edit the site settings of the revo install - specifically site name for now but more in due course. But the ’Enter the name of your site here’ field is uneditable, as are all the other fields in site settings, eg ’Publised default’ etc.

My first guesses are there are user/apache permission conflicts, or that it’s a subdomain issue, but these are guesses.

Hosting info:
Server version: 5.0.91-community
MySQL client version: 4.1.22
PHP version 5.2.13
Apache version 2.2.15
cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)

I wonder if you made a same error I made. the field that drops down when you click + sign is not editable. The item header that shows the current setting (or no setting) is where you enter your string.

Point taken, usability is king/queen (once again, non-discrciminatory ).
I shall retire gracefully with further insight into modx functionality and design.
