How is the processors path set in a controller?

The documentation (http://rtfm.modx.com//pages/viewpage.action?pageId=9502756&navigatingVersions=true) states that the processors path is set by the method handleRequest().

As you can see, modx->request->handleRequest() accepts an array of options:
•processors_path: The base directory where your component’s processor files are found.
•location: The subdirectory of processors_path to find the processor.
•action: This tells MODx the filename of the Processor file to load. This value will be taken from the HTTP $_REQUEST[’action’] parameter.

However the handleRequest() method which is defined in the modRequest class does not accept any parameters.

I am unable to work out how to set the processors path. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Look at modManagerrequest/response, it takes an array of settings for ’location’, ’action’ etc.

OK, thanks for the suggestion. In fact it was the modConnectorRequest class that I was looking for. And as is often the case the real problem that it wasn’t working was an obscure typo (one of the problems with using literals instead of defined constants) - oh well onward.
