can't connect to the manager due to ldap

Hi,

i have a silly question i’m sure but i can’t find the answer in the docs...

i’ve just refactored my own website in revo and have put it on the distant server.
Everything works fine except for the fact that i can’t connect to the manager, i get this error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ldap_connect() .../core/components/activedirectory/model/activedirectory/modactivedirectorydriver.class.php on line 157

had the same problem locally but it has been easy to add ldap php extension, on a shared hosting it’s a bit different...

ldap not being part of the requirements in the docs i guess there is a way to work without it (i really do not need it for this website) but i haven’t find out how yet

Why did you install the modActiveDirectory Extra if you don’t need to use it? Are you wanting to authenticate against an ActiveDirectory DC?

If so, you’ll need the LDAP plugin to run it, as it connects to AD over LDAP.

:) you’re right, i knew i was silly...

i forgot that i installed the plugin as this website is sort of my playground and allows me to test all and everything locally, but i will install an other playground locally to play with and uninstall it on this website i just put online to share js plugins i write (and now that the structure is ok i was to feed it with all its former content)
