Custom TV moved with form customization won't accept any content

Hi There,

I’ve moved a custom Rich Text TV to the first tab but nothing can be edited in the TV. If I deactivate the rule, then I can edit the TV.

I’m running Modx under MAMP 1.9 which is using PHP 5.3.2 and am using Safari 5.0.1

Have tried this in Firefox and although I can edit the content, the format menu appears in the top left of the browser window.

Hm, it only seems to happen with Richtext TVs; I’m betting it’s an issue with the RTE itself not liking to be moved around in the DOM. I’m not sure if there’s much we can do to fix that.

Just tried this - I can get the Richtext TV to accept any changes, however the window to see the text (the wysiwyg window) is blank. This is in Chrome & FF.

Testing in IE8 and Safari works as intended - content updates and is visible.

Any ideas?

There’s also a "Toggle Fullscreen Mode" button in the TinyMCE toolbar... clicking that opens fullscreen (! who’da thunk it!) and the content is visble then.

Ok.. it was working.. updated to newest version (4.0.4, rc2), and now RichText TV’s don’t do anything on load. They look right, but I can’t add content, buttons in toolbars are unresponsive.

However, sometimes, I can refresh the page, and then everything works as expected... sometimes.

Very annoying!

I’m on modx Revo 2.0.2-pl, MS Server 2008, PHP 5.2.14 with FastCGI, mysql 5.1.49, using Firefox 3.6.10.
Lots of errors in the log that are identical to this:
