I only get
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Code+Standards#CodeStandards-FileStructure about the filenaming.
What I need is further info about the snippet/plugin/ CMP {ex-module-term} controller files.
I have here: breadcrumbs.snippet.php and snippet.getfeed.php
Are these restrictive or not?

To be honest, you can name those how you want, but usually Elements can be named element.name.php or name.element.php; controller files are best as nameofcontroller.php.
