MODx Documentation (rtfm.modx.com) user/pass same as modxcms.com?

Hi All,

Maybe it’s been one of those days, but I keep getting prompted to log in
to the MODx Documentation page, at:

http://rtfm.modx.com/dologin.action

I’m able to browse the docs at:
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Home
and other links, but then all of a sudden I get redirected to the log in page.

Are certain docs/posts not public?

I logged into the main modxcms.com site, and the forum, and the jira site,
but I can’t get into the doc site, via the login.

I keep getting a captcha prompt, but when I type it in, it just comes back
with the same captch prompt again.

Very strange.

I think you need to have signed a CLI to be given access to the documentation system. You can view things without logging in you just can’t make changes.

But I wasn’t able to view some links.

What links did you have problems accessing? I don’t know of any that should be blocked off hand.

there’s a link to a ’custom TV tutorial’:

http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/revolution/Adding+a+Custom+TV+Input+Type

and when I click on it, I’m prompted for a documentation user/pass.

However, when I go to a subset of the url:
http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/

I can get in fine. (but not to that topic.)

It looks like the URL format has changed some. Please see:

http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Adding+a+Custom+TV+Input+Type

It looks like if you just make these changes to the url it should be good to go:

Replace "svn" with "rtfm" remove "docs/" and change "revolution" to "revolution20"
