getFeed doesn't get anything for me

Using Ditto for feed purposes in Evo was a cinch.

Using getFeed leaves a lot to be desired, particularly since the documentation leaves out details such as the type of content needs to be selected.

In Evo I use the default (HTML) and use a blank template.

Using empty template in Revo leads to a blank page.
Using RSS content type leads to the same.

I checked out http://thrash.me’s feed for clues, but no go. I searched in the Revo forum but nothing about feeds.

While I’m on the topic, I would love to see Brian Stanback’s FeedX converted to Revo and call it getOtherFeeds as it did an absolutely great job of getting other site’s feeds. Instant content to support one’s point of view. If I had the skills I would do it, but alas that’s just not my area of expertise.

I was checking out the Tutorial about Blogs. getFeed was explained there: get other people’s feed, not get my feed and display the link in my URL address bar.

Duh!

So then, how does one create the feed for their own site? I wasn’t able to get Ditto to do the same thing I’ve done 30 times in Evo-based sites.
