After installing - modx-2.0.0-pl revolution - error log reports files not copied

    Hello,

    After installing - modx-2.0.0-pl revolution - error log reports some files not copied & installed:

    Are these errors major problems?


    Setup:

    running on XAMPP:

    PHP Version 5.3.1
    Apache/2.2.14
    MySql 5.1.41

      - Please read Troubleshooting Installation.
      - MySQL client AND server version?
      - Traditional or advanced distribution?
      - Are you using any opcode caching, such as eAccelerator, xCache, WinCache, APC, etc? (Please check)
      - mod_security enabled?
      - Any errors in core/cache/logs/error.log?
      - Anything else we should possibly know?

        Im using the following setup:

        Xampp installed package on localhost:

        -Apache 2.2.14 (IPv6 enabled) + OpenSSL 0.9.8l
        -MySQL 5.1.41 + PBXT engine
        -PHP 5.3.1
        -phpMyAdmin 3.2.4
        -Perl 5.10.1
        -FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.33
        -Mercury Mail Transport System 4.72

        -eAccelerator - extension not loaded
        -xCache, Wincache, Apc - Not install or running
        -mod_security - Not installed or running


        -MODx Revolution 2.0.0-pl - Traditional version

        - Any errors in core/cache/logs/error.log? - None!

        - Anything else we should possibly know?:

        os: WindowsXP64
        browser: Firefox 3.6.8


        Done a clean install again, deleting all files of modx in htdocs, installed successfully with no red alerts
        but still the error log under the report menu gives the errors!

        saw this post just now: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=51831.0
        documents a simlar set of errors, but im using a localhost, not on a hostserver, and im getting these files from setup install.

        Any Ideas?

          I have tried installing this several times, checking every installation requirement from the
          online documentation: http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/revolution20/Server+Requirements.

          I don get any errors on the installation of mod-2.0.0-pl revolution - its all green with no warnings!

          But when i login and check the error log under -> reports, i get the list of errors i first reported in this thread(see above). huh

          My question is:

          are the files that have not been copied or installed a major issue for the general use and building of my site?

            If you are using the traditional distribution you can safely ignore these messages for now. They will be resolved for a future release. If you are using advanced, it would be a problem.

                Hi Jason,
                I am having similar error log and when I changed domain name from www.hostingprovider.com/~client to www.clientname.com I can’t log to manager. I would be redirected to manager login again. I’ve tried clearing cash, flushing sessions, but didn’t help.
                I’ve noticed as well that being on temporary address my images didn’t display in back end.
