Resources Browser Access Denied

Hi there,

I’ve upgraded my installation to 2.0.0-pl, and upgraded my packages within the Package Manager (TinyMCE etc), and I’m having a problem viewing the Resources Browser.

If I edit a resource, and try to link to an image or file, the Resources Browser is giving me an ’Access Denied’ message, and I cannot see the folder structure or files at all.

I’ve just discovered my own problem that can cause this access error.

Installing modx within a directory of another site for testing and dev purposes...
If the site has it’s own htaccess in the public html dir, the modx install will of course use that htaccess unless you define a new one in the modx dir. Easy to miss :p

This scenario might be avoided if the included ht.acess where distributed as .htaccess with the uncommented Rewrite commands commented out.

Unfortunately, then it would never get uploaded by a majority of users, whose OS’es hide files prefixed with a dot.

Good suggestion, though.
