Two days ago I successfully downloaded and installed Rev 2 using MAMP 9.1.
Today I tried doing another install. I created a fresh DB using the local localhost:8888/phpMyAdmin/
When running the setup installer I entered the Database host fields as usual (localhost, rrot, rrot, modx. modx_) the test database server connection worked. I then tired hitting the "create or test selection of your database" link and I get the red warning Checking database:Table prefix is already in use in this database!
This is a new database I added so what gives. I even tried a fresh download of the Rev 2 archive and I still get this error message?
Any ideas here?
If you already created this table (for your previous install?), it should give you this error because its already in use - if you use db names something like modx2 and modx2_ it should start up fine, or delete the previous one through MyAdmin. If you open the db at connection information through the installer there are no problems.
