SimpleSearch und Template Variables

Hi,

has anyone a idea why SimpleSearch did not include TVs in the search results?

SimpleSearch does not search in any dynamic content...

Is there an other search snippet who support TVs?

The doc says: does not search dynamic content.
Now searches unprocessed TVs

?

Not at this time... SimpleSearch is actually the only "search" snippet...
I suppose it will be ehanced step by step... The SimpleSearch roadmap says "ability to search in TV values"... Now it searches in unprocessed TV (that was not the case some weeks ago), may be the next step is search in "processed TV"... Splittingred is the man to ask...

I am from germany. I can translate "unprocessed template-variable" But what does it mean?
It only can search "empty" variables???

I realy need a TV-Search funktion. I realy cant stand that Revo cames out without those
importand and elementery funktions. That brings me in big trouble this time.

unprocessed tv means only the raw value of the tv, as stored in the db.
this means:
- NO output filtering
- NO @binding (’FILE’,’CHUNK’,’DOCUMENT’,’SELECT’,’EVAL’,’INHERIT’,’DIRECTORY’)
- NO tag parsing

you can see ’what you’re missing’ in \core\model\modx\modtemplatevar.class.php
still - searching an unprocessed tv might be good enough for you. what do you TVs hold?

The TVs hold names and so on.
I do customize the search output template. In this output I want the
values of the TVs. But that do not work.

Has anyone a idea why it doesent work?

Hm...the raw value of the TV sounds like that could work for me.
What I need is that the values of the founds TV appear in the search output chunk.

Ist that possible?

In the case of not: What other thing can I do to makes this possible?
