TinyMCE // Package not found // RC2

Hi all!

First of all - Revolution is great!! I’ve loved it from the first sight )

But i have one Problem. I can’t install TinyMCE. Every time i want to install it (Download is no Problem), it shows "Package not found" All other Plugins i’am able to install....

Do you have any ideas?

This is a known issue, but we cannot replicate it on any test environments, nor can we get a standard environment that this happens on. It seems to be related to a faulty PHP ZipArchive compile on some servers. Can you post:

- PHP Version
- MySQL client and server version
- Server
- OS/Browser

- PHP zip extension information, including version, extension info, etc (all the stuff in the phpinfo() table for ’zip’)

I have the same problem - except I can’t install any packages. It seems the zip is not extracted correctly.

I did a test with the TinyMCE package. It downloads ok, and when I try to install only parts of the zip-file is extracted. Then I get the "Package not found". I then tried to extract locally and upload all files in the same directory as the Modx-system would have done, and now I could install it without any problems.

Upgrade your ZipArchive extension.

I’m having a similar problem with "Package Not Found" errors and in the past day it’s become an epidemic. Out of 43 packages installed, all have been successful on this server except the following:

metax 1.1-Public
codemirror 1.1.0-rc1
quip 1.0.1-pl
tinymce 4.0.1-pl

Note that previous versions of codemirror, quip, and tinymce installed fine; it’s just the versions released in the last couple of days that are failing. Metax never installed.

I have tried both going through the modxcms.com provider as well as downloading the packages for local install. With the latter I have tried using just the zip file as well as unzipping the folder outside the server and uploading those with and without the zip file. Always the same result.

Here’s the environment, including the Zip library versions:

Server Linux 2.6.34.1
PHP version 5.2.13
MySQL client version 5.1.48
MySQL server version 5.1.48

Zip version 1.8.11
Libzip version 0.9.0
Zlib version 1.2.3

I believe those zip versions are up to date, but correct me if I’m wrong. Ideas?
