what addons are exactly available for Revolution? (I am confused, truly - and - "filtering" addons to only show addons available for Revolutions gives me a multitude of duplicates plus numbers they don’t exist plus many "apparently" still missing great addons like a WebloginPE... etc.) Thus, a clear overview on all that would be ... helpful?

Click on the Download Extras Button in Package Manager and then expand the tree at the upper left to see the packages rather than using the links below.
Try it the way I suggested. Go to System->Package Management in the Revo Manager and click on the "Download Extras" button. Then expand the tree at the upper left to see the packages that are appropriate for your version.
There are a lot of add-ons that don’t show for the pl version yet simply because their authors haven’t had time to update the settings at the repository. There are more add-ons for MODx Evolution, of course, but the selection for Revo is pretty impressive and most of the new ones are more powerful and better-written.
BTW, most of the add-ons that work in RC3 (and maybe RC2 and RC1) will work in the current version.
Can you say what you’re looking for? There may be a good substitute available. Gallery is not a good substitute for MaxiGallery yet, but most of the other major snippets are covered and most small utility snippets are easy to translate for Revolution.
