Friendly urls, leave out content type file extension

Just digging into Revo. Using friendly url’s and alias is it possible to leave out the content type file extension?
My links are rendering for example contact.html and i want to leave out the .html part.

Go to System -> Content Types and leave the file extension of HTML blank.

Working fine now, thx for your reply.

I had the same problem and this solved it as well. You probably made the same mistake I did. Some options in Revo you have to hit ’Save’, others like the System Settings you just make the change and off you go. Not a fan of this inconsistency.

Agreed. I’m never quite sure what this funky interface is going to do or not do. The first time I tried this, I couldn’t seem to get the .html part to edit (you right-click, I found out later), so I deleted that Content Type, planning to recreate it without ".html". Nope, I trashed my site, even though I recreated it: Revo (unless they’ve fixed it) relies on that Content Type being there with a hard-coded ID number in the database. So I had to go in there and fix it. If I’d been any less geekie, I would have been screwed.
