    Hello

i am new to the Board and i have done one Project with Evo months ago.
Now i am asking you the following stuff, to make sure that modx is what i am looking for and if modx will replace my current cms.

After installing Revo i am very excited to realize the upcoming Project.
For us it is important that we can publish Content very flexible. A Single Page in the Website can be "Webservices" - on that page we want to place Text, Text/Image, a Gallery, Download Box and maybe a Form. The Screen shows you how it may look. Maybe the Position can be changed?!

Another Situation could be a "Homepage" where we have three Columns, each Column is a "Teasermodul" it can be Image or Text.
Now we want to Jump to Teaser #1 or Teaser #2 or Teaser #3 and place some Text or an Image.
    Is that possible too?

I would be very happy to receive some Feedback from you.

    Thanks!

    * @Admins please erase my first under General Discussions - thanks wink

If you can build it with html/css/tables/960 framework/asp/php...., you can tell modx to output it with placeholders to put in text/images/galleries (using snippets).

Revolution is Evolution, but then awesome-er and even more flexible, customizable without damaging upgrade paths.

This should be easy with Revo and a couple of plugins:

        - Gallery
        - TinyMCE
        - getResources

You can construct a chunk which would enable you to place a gallery anywhere you want by simply calling [[$gallery?album=`Name of your album`]] anywhere you want to place a gallery (even in TinyMCE, the WYSIWYG-editor of choice). I think you can construct a link of downloadable PDF’s with getResources or FileLister. Should you decide to use MODx for your project (which you should wink ), you can always check back in here for additional help smiley.
