Disappearing Page

So, I’m running a modx revo rc2 install on PHP 5.2.8 and mysq 5.0.91. About once every two or three weeks, one of my pages will go completely blank, as if MODx isn’t parsing any of the code/template for that page. If I duplicate the template, assign the duplicate of the old template to the page and reload, everything works just fine. Otherwise, nothing gets sent to the browser.

Any ideas on this? My first thought is cache - so I disabled the caching of this page and will keep an eye on it over the next while. Didn’t see anything in the forum/JIRA on this. It’s a pretty straight-forward page with very little logic happening.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome.

Can you describe the "very little logic happening"?

Sorry - late night after a long day of driving.....

All I mean is, I really don’t have a lot of extra code happening - a couple calls to getResources and a little menu snippet that I wrote.... nothing that isn’t on any other page in the site. But it’s only the one template (the homepage template) that seems to have this problem. The rest of the stuff on the page is just basic resource content and html in the template. Many (if not all) of the other pages also call the same snippets at some point.

I can’t seem to nail down when it’s happening - seems pretty random - but happens about one every 2-3 weeks at this point. Just, every so often, I’ll visit the homepage and nothing will be there. No HTML is visible in the browser whatsoever. I can still load all of the other pages just fine when this occurs.

While I was thinking it may be cache related, I can clear the cache and nothing changes.... it’s only when I duplicate the template and assign the new copy to the homepage that I can make it work again.

I would upgrade to RC3 or later and see if it still happens. Hard to know what to advise without knowing more...
