I have a question. In MODx, how does one input content into the CMS
I know MODx says you use pages, but does that mean that whenever a person needs to add content to the CMX, one has to go to "Resources", rightclick on the structure or on "new document" button and then create a new content item?
The reason i ask this is that when coming from Joomla, one is used to creating categories, then when one needs to add content, one goes straight to "Article manager" and then clicks "new".
The difference being that
1 - There is less chance of someone accidentaly tampering and editing the category
2 - The category content can easily be filtered and can contain numerous articles and one can view items by restricting the number that are listed in each view e.g. 5 to 10 articles, with pagination to scroll through.
What happens with MODx when under a given tree item, one has over 50 items (pages)?
Doesn’t that slow page upload and make it dificult to manage?
Or does MODx handle such content items differently?
