I put tips inside TV Descriptions and some of the tips include modx tags like this:
(i.e. [[~123]])
RC3 hides modx tags on the TV manager pages, which turns the above tip into:
(i.e. )
Is this a bug? Is there a workaround to show example modx tags in my TV descriptions in RC3?
Time is what keeps everything from happening all at once.
MODx strips tags from TV descriptions to prevent injection.
However, you can still use the ASCII chars:
[[~myTV]]

Thanks for the explanation and the workaround!

No go. The ASCII characters get stripped, leaving:
(i.e. ~123)
Weird that there’s no HTML character entity (just the ASCII number) for square brackets.

Hm, we’ll look into it for PL. I’ll see if i can get just HTML tags to be stripped.
