If you leave it in /website/ i don’t see any reason to re-run the setup...If you move it though
you should definantly "upgrade".

You should always re-run setup when moving servers. Period. As the paths may change, as well as sessions.

Well that’s the thing, I’m not really moving servers. The site is currently just in a subfolder instead of in the root of the space...
Yeah, you have a MODx running in /website and you want to run from / without moving or copying anything.
I say, just set the RewriteBase to /website and all should be fine? (you can of course test this quickly or local)

Easiest way is to change the document root of your virtual host to the subdirectory and re-run setup.
Otherwise, you need to treat it as a move to the root, or find a way to rewrite to the subdirectory that is acceptable to you.
Thanks for the advice guys. I’m running into some small shenanigans concerning the base meta-tag, so I think I’m just gonna go ahead and move the entire thing into root and re-run setup (pending some final testing).
