Matt - unfortunately that is the complete log - no user record created (as you can see)

I’m sure the MODx security creation software is choking on something (it isn’t reporting errors properly) and aborting.

Then turn on error reporting in PHP.ini. I think display errors is by default on, but logging is not (and make sure the log file is specified). That’s a PHP install thing, not a MODx thing, as far as I know...

BTW, that’s not a complete record being spit out, as best I can tell. Which suggests that the file never got closed properly? In any case, take another look at it. Is it possible you are running into a memory/space problem somewhere? Are other actions going goofy? I’m not convinced there’s a MODx security problem here, FWIW...

SOLUTION: - replaced the corrupt file \manager\processors\save_user.processor.php (it was zero bytes)

THANK YOU to mconsidine (Matt) for pm’ing many times to help me find this! Made my day, week and month - i’m about to put up my 3rd MODx site, this time using Revolution!
