Addon not in package manager?

    Hi,

    I was trying to install EditArea 0.8 for Revolution. (http://modxcms.com/extras/package/?package=553)

    The addon page on the website says it can be installed via the package manager, but I can’t seem to locate it there.

    I don’t know where the package manager gets its data from (although I’d assume from the website considering "modxcms.com" is the provider), but is it possible that it’s not included there somehow?

    If I overlooked it I’m sorry, I did look in every category :p

    EDIT: Managed to install it manually anyway. Simply copying the transport file to the core/packages dir and running package manager searching locally. Nevertheless, I think it should be in the actual pm.

    The console gave me the following:

    This file seems to be setting the system events to use, and indeed it doesn’t seem to have added system events to the plugin.

      On the package description, it shows that EditArea only works for Revo beta2. It has been discontinued.

      CodeMirror will provide you a better solution. It will be available when Revo RC-3 hits.

        Actually, the package description says beta2 or later. Maybe that should be updated?

        I’m not getting the plugin to work either way, so I’ll wait for RC3 and give CodeMirror a try.
