Login fails after upgrade RC1 to RC2

I’m getting an error: "That account could not be located. Check the username and re-type the password to try again."

Password resets also don’t work. Does anyone have any ideas?

Not without a bit more information I’m afraid. Steps taken, environment, etc.

Hi there,

I went through this again, and got the same error.

Environment:

• Apache 2.2.15
• MySQL 5.0.90-community
• PHP 5.2.13

Other things to note: I’ve got a multi-domain MODx set up.

Steps taken

0 Unsure if I logged out of the site
1 Created new database, collation UTF-8 General
2 Copied database (dumped, reimported to new database)
3 Moved old files, added RC-2 files (connectors, core, manager, config.core.php, index.php)
4 Moved old files back into RC-2 (assets, copy of core/config.inc.php [edited for new db name], .htaccess)
5 Ran auto install script, standard upgrade
6 Ran automatic script
7 Attempted to log in but got error

I then reverted to previous set up. It’s easy enough to run through the whole thing again, if there’s something I should avoid. Thanks for any help!
