Does anyone know what would cause a blank manager screen after changing domains?

I am running RC2 on my development domain, everything is running great and the site was approved.

Now I am transferring the files to the new domain (which is on the same server) and after all of the files are uploaded the manager screen is just white.

I pulled down all of the files from FTP and then re-uploaded them (as the new user) to the new domain.

Now if I delete all the files and upload a fresh install of RC2 the manager loads fine. I have tried to upload the original files (from a fresh download on modxcms.com) and then do an upgrade install and get the same problem, just a blank page.

All folders are 0755 and all files are 0644 and are owned by the proper user (suPHP is installed.) These exact files on the same server work fine (on a sub domain) so I don’t think its a permissions issue.

I’m not seeing any PHP errors, warnings or notices.

According to some earlier discussions in the MODx forums (mostly Bob Ray’s comments) the right approach for moving your site to the production environment (perhaps not the case here, but hopefully there are similarities) is the following:

• Install MODx revolution in the production environment, but do not yet remove the setup directory.
  Make sure the charsets/collations for the production database are the same as for the database in your development environment.
• Install all the necessary MODx packages (the same packages as in the development environment).
• Copy additional needed files (CSS, images, etc.) to the production environment (make sure that the Apache-user/group has the right permissions for these files - using the MODx filemanager would be a good way)
• Export the development database.
• Import the development database in the production environment.
• Run MODx setup again, as an upgrade. Now please do remove the setup directory.
