I’m building a 3PC where the client is able to generate PDF’s of certain resources, and mail those PDF’s to one or many people selected in a list. I’m trying to make the component as native to Modx Revolution as I can, and therefore I’m using ExtJs. The problem is I’m just starting to learn this library.
All the serverside code is finnished. I’m just wondering what is the best implementation of ExtJs is, or any tips and tricks.
Basically the functionality needed is as follows:
- two lists, one with the ModResources, and one with the people to mail
- both lists have multiple selection available
- each list has one button:
* the modResource list has a "Generate PDF" button, that generates PDF’s from the selected resources
* the people list has a "Send e-mail" button that sends the selected PDF’s to the selected people
It’s especially the last item in the list that I’m having a hard time to wrap my head around
I don’t know if this makes any sense, but I would be happy if any of you have suggestions. What Ext/Modext components is the best in this case?
