friendly url deosn't work

    Hi all,
    I’m having problem with friendly URL this time. have set it to enable, change my ht.access to .htaccess, got mod_rewrite,mod_proxy loaded, have allowOverride all in httpd.conf file, but still got 404 page not found error. can someone help me with this? thanks in advance.

      How is MODx installed in your file structure? Is it in the web root, or in a subdirectory of the web root?

        its located under sub directory www.domain.com/subdir/
        I’ve changed the RewriteBase to point to /subdir though.
