Problems after upgrade to rc2

I upgraded from rc1 to rc2 with no apparent problems. (I didn’t use the advanced version.)

But after a hour or so of normal behavior it hung.

I couldn’t clear cache or logout - so I closed the browser window.

And then Manager wouldn’t load - neither would Setup. Just a blank screen.

So I copied over all the files - in other words, prepared to upgrade again.

No luck - same blank screens.

The site itself continues to load and display normally.

And idea what I can try next?

Never heard of anything like that. Did you check your database tables for corruption? Did your server configuration change? Very odd.

I am expecting that it is a corrupted database table.

In a new setup pointing to the same db, Manager runs (but Setup doesn’t) but Manager doesn’t show window on right side of screen for Edit Resource and so on.

The window on the left with the 3 tabs does display - and it shows all the assets. But it won’t Clear Cache - Console window appears but is empty.

And Preview Resource loads a blank browser window . . .

What is the best way to figure out which table is corrupted?

Ot would you recommend some other way forward?

And you were right - there was a change made to the server configuration . . .

Good to know that it wasn’t anything to do with MODx.
