Browser loads manager, not pages

Hey guys. I’ve been playing around with Revolution and working on converting my site to it. I’m running rc1 and have run into an issue I don’t know how to solve. I’m guessing it is something simple though that I’m missing. In ALL browsers, I try to load the site and get a 404 error. If I try to access the manager, I can. In fact, after logging into the manager, I can then access any published pages of the website. After awhile, I try to load the website again and run into the same problem. I am using FURL’s and have my .htaccess file set up correctly, I believe. Any help?

First, are you sure the pages are published?

If that’s not it, have you done anything with the security permissions in the Manager? That might have locked out front-end users, which, in Revo, leads to the "page not found" page.

I’ve confirmed that’s what the problem is after logging into a second account. Problem is, the new security features are giving me a tough time. I’m trying to make it so that myself, and one other person can access the backend and still have regular visitors access the website. I don’t need to lock any published webpages to the public, just some pages that I don’t want the other admin to edit.

Yes, go to the Resource Group Access tab and change the context of all entries to ’mgr’ (or delete them). If it’s set to a front-end context (e.g. ’web’) it makes the documents protected in the front end.

Security | Acces Controls | User Groups,
right-click on a user group and select "Update User Group,"
then click on the Resource Group Access tab.
