This cms rocks! As far I can see, I think I’m done with joomla...

After a successful fresh install (even twice) I’m missing as follows:
    http://members.chello.at/poli/modx_revolution_missing.png

    My system environment:
    ubuntu 6.06
    Apache/2.0.55 (Ubuntu)
    PHP/5.1.2
    MySql/5.0.22

    Thank you!

ATM, curl has to be enabled for Package Management to work.

Not sure why the Components menu would be missing.

And you just need to configure your setting for filemanager_path I imagine to see the Files.

BTW, while we currently officially support 5.1.2, it might be a good idea to update to more recent release of PHP. That is very old and I’m sure you’ll run into bugs associated with using such an out-of-date version.

Jason is correct about cURL being needed for Package Management.

The Components menu is hidden because there are no menu items for it. When you install something, it will show up.

curl is enabled... output form phpinfo.php:
          CURL support enabled
          CURL Information libcurl/7.15.1 OpenSSL/0.9.8a zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.5.18

Set filemanager_path var, but still see no files sad
          /var/www/vhosts/web-check.at/subdomains/modx/httpdocs/revolution/

My modx runs in a subdomain... could that be the problem?

@open geek: I will update php soon. but it’s not that simple on my vps with plesk support.

          Thanks guys!

The filemanager_path setting only works on SVN/RC-2 and onward.
