Installation error, no tables are created

Hi,

I cant find out what im missing. Im trying to install the RC of Revolution and have the directories chmodded and when i enter the setup and supply it with correct mysql details, i get green light with working detals and all OK’s on the next page but then when i press "Install" i get this error:

The MYSQL-db is created called "modx" but no tables are created inside it.

What am i missing?

MySQL Serverversion: 5.0.32-Debian_7etch12-log
MySQL klientversion: 5.0.32
PHP Version 5.2.0-8+etch16

It’s because the PHP version you are using is not supported, as it’s PDO support is buggy and wont work with Revolution’s dependency on PDO. You’ll need to upgrade PHP if you want to proceed.

Oh, my bad.

I remember fighting with the php upgrade before. I tried install php 5.3.2 but when i do
apt-get upgrade php5 or apt-get install php5 i only get this error:

# apt-get upgrade php5
