Modx Revolution (friendly filenames not working)

Hi,
I have a new modx install.

My subdomains are working great (i can access using a.domsin.com and b.domain.com.

however, a.domain.com/clean-file.html doesn’t work.

I am using the default .htaccess file.

Please help.
