I want to know if revo supports creating a user and allowing them access to ONLY 1 page (to edit). We want to be able to give customers a login to their specific page and let them update ONLY THEIR content, not see anything else in the manager.
I still cant quite get my head around the new manager (but it just takes time to play and break it a few times!)

Yes it does (although you have to give them "load" and "list" permission for any ancestor pages so their page will be visible in the tree). You’ll have to create a user group and a separate ACL entry for each user in the current version.
Maybe a "tree start ID" solution can be implemented
The user will only see what is inside that Container. If the document is not a container the user will only see 1 document in the tree and the tree can be hidden.

A tree_root_id setting would be an awesome feature request. It could be set for contexts or users (or the global system if need be). Let’s think it through, but would you mind entering a ticket for this cipa?

Does tree_root_id have any effect in the front end, or does it just control the tree in the Manager?
