error on revo install on line 358

I get an error during the setup after I click install button. The summary page appears ok and then I get this:

Fatal error: Call to a member function install() on a non-object in ... revolution/setup/includes/modinstall.class.php on line 358

Any ideas?

Revo advanced

PHP Version 5.2.4-2 ubuntu 5.6

Mysql 5.0.51a ( I see this is the culprit! ) Ok I will try and upgrade mysql

pdo is installed

I just upgraded mysql to 5.1.41, PHP Version 5.3.2, 1ubuntu4.2, pdo_mysql is installed. Still getting this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function install() on a non-object in /var/www/revo/revolution/setup/includes/modinstall.class.php on line 358

in the core cache i get this error.

/var/www/revo/revolution/core/packages/core.transport.zip not found.

For info, looks to be the same as the last line in the installation error I reported some time ago. Maybe the other information provided there might be of help.
